Hello, Kind Reader! Happy tenth blog! I wasn't sure how to celebrate, so I brought party poppers! ...I just realized I'll have to clean this up. Let's nix that and just settle for a golf clap, hm? Y'know, I've been addressing you as "Kind Reader" this entire time and I never once thought to ask if you had a more preferred title. Maybe I should make a poll on Twitter? Ah, who am I kidding, there's no outside engagement or fan club for this blog yet! Kind Reader you shall remain until further notice, haha! I've had a grand time on the outside of this screen. Plenty of fresh air, walks that last 4,200+ steps for most of the days in the week, the scale looking at me with kinder digits than before! All is looking up over in Nova-ville. Granted, such an extended and necessary break has left me with some ideas for when I return.
There's this thing that a chunk of the Vtuber scene loves to do and that is to write or include lore of their identity. I've done this an odd time for my past aliases. Aly is a Frutiger Aero era fallen angel, Ruiko is a desktop assistant AI that gained proper sentience, but loves streaming too much to do anything malicious (I nerfed her original lore a good while back. heck, I used to roleplay religiously on Twitter in the 2010s, so it was easy to make up a backstory on the spot. So now, I'm creating a mini (like, one singular page) comic and a visual to go with it for the lore of Nova. I've had this idea cooking up in my head since the start of March. I'm really happy that these things are coming naturally, but it's so frustrating that I simply cannot DO much just yet, so I have to jot everything down before my ADHD says "Ooh, shiny video game that further distracts meeee, ooooh". I'm enamoured with Pokopia right now. I finished the game, well, got to the end credits within five days of owning it. This is my first time enjoying Pokémon since X & Y because rather than complaining on Reddit or Twitter about how I'm clearly not the target audience, I just simply don't buy them. Novel idea, I know. However, I AM looking forward to the next gen release. The fire dog will be mine. If there are plushies, I'm buying one immediately. Okay, I've talked your eyes off for tonight.
